Wyclef Jean’s Carnival II Memoirs of an Immigrant Album Release party

Live Video Projections Including Live Filter Effects and Pre-Created Content

Wyclef kicked off the night with a party to tout the Dec. 4 release of Carnival II: Memoirs of an Immigrant, his seventh studio album, recalling his 1997 triple-platinum debut solo album, Wyclef Jean Presents The Carnival Featuring Refugee All-Stars.

It was a celebration. The album features yet another diverse cast of collaborators, this time including Paul Simon, Minister Louis Farrakhan on violin, and System of a Down’s Serj Tankian. Clad in white, ‘Clef treated the crowd to the album’s first single, “Sweetest Girl (Dollar Bill),” which features Akon and Lil Wayne and to lots more.

Haitian born, Wyclef Jean, is a world renowned artist, songwriter, producer, Good Will Ambassador and activist through his Yelé Haiti foundation. The Grammy® Award winner returned to Columbia Records to celebrate the ten-year anniversary of his first solo album with The Carnival II: Memoirs of an Immigrant.
